In line with our aim to visit as many places within Vietnam as possible, last weekend Lisa and I along with colleagues from RMIT spent three days in Nha Trang. One of our Vietnamese colleagues lives there and it was yet another opportunity to travel with local knowledge ?built in? so to speak. Nha Trang is a superb beachfront resort city that is ringed by lush green mountains. The beaches are golden, the warm water is a clear pristine blue ? heaven. We caught the HCMC-Hanoi night express train which departed from Saigon station at 11pm and arrived in Nha Trang at 5.45 the next morning. We had first class sleeper cabins which were reasonably comfortable sleeping four to a cabin.
Not much more to say about the trip except to yet again remark on the friendly and happy attitude of the Vietnamese people. We enjoyed every second of the weekend and are looking forward to the next Information Systems Team end of semester trip.
I have posted images to three separate sub albums that you can visit by clicking here or on one of the thumbnails above.
