Each morning when I am staying at the Win Hotel in Hang Hanh St I eat at a tiny restaurant directly opposite. The lady who runs it is very famous for not only her noodles, but more especially for her sticky rice which I love. The locals are highly amused that I eat so much sticky rice, so much so that Hong and Diep who own the Inside Bar next to the Win Hotel now refer to me as “Mr. sticky-rice” and enjoy making fun of me about it.
This morning the lady was barbecuing tiny beef rissoles which were delicious on top of of my sticky rice along with her world renowned caramelised pork. Delicious!
